UCTC UPM captived Dyslexia Children's Psychomotor Level through Cilik Biodiversity 1.0

Serdang, 31 July 2018 - To encourage children to interact directly with nature through the diversity of resources, the University Community Transformation Centre (UCTC UPM) in collaboration with Maybank and the Malaysia Dyslexia Assocciation (Bangi branch) has organized the first Cilik Biodiversity 1.0 Program at Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Total 36 participants from range 6 to 9 year olds and assisted by 7 accompanying teachers from Malaysia Dyslexia Assocciation (Bangi branch) to participate in the program. Also present were the Maybank’s manager and staff from Taman Seri Serdang and nearby branches assisted in the success of planned activities.

This program helps children, especially those who experience dyslexia in stimulating their senses and motor skills through more interactive and fun classroom-learning methods.

Cilik Biodiversity was themed "Embrace Biodiversity" touches on three (3) important aspects in the development of a target community of biodiversity sustainability through the knowledge transfer, practices in preserving biodiversity, and community co-ordination in preserving biodiversity balance.
